The acclaimed French studio Don't Nod, renowned for their work on *Life is Strange*, has unveiled the first chapter of their latest narrative-driven masterpiece. Players can now immerse themselves in the haunting atmosphere of *Tape 1*, with *Tape 2* set to be available for free to all purchasers starting April 15.

First announced in 2023, this game delves into the gripping tale of a tight-knit group of friends whose lives were mysteriously upended during the summer of 1995. Fast forward 27 years, and the specters of that fateful season resurface, bringing with them unforeseen and chilling repercussions.

Inspired by classics like *It*, *Yellowjackets*, and *I Know What You Did Last Summer*, the game seamlessly weaves nostalgia with elements of a psychological thriller. The developers have strategically divided the game into two distinct parts: *Bloom* and *Rage*. As of today, February 18, fans can experience the first half of this eerie narrative.

The second installment, dubbed "The Tape" by the creative team, is slated for release on April 15. Initially planned for a March launch, the delay aims to deliver a more refined and polished gaming experience.
