Gameplay adjustments focus on balancing offense and defense. The update reduces the accuracy of high-throw mechanics, increases the force needed for tackle knockouts, and adjusts the catch chance threshold on interceptions. These changes address player feedback and aim to create a more competitive and strategic environment.

Central to this update is the introduction of the PlayerCard and NFL Team Pass. The PlayerCard allows for extensive customization, letting players personalize their online presence with custom backgrounds, player pictures, borders, and badges. The NFL Team Pass introduces an objective-based system where players choose a favorite team and complete challenges to unlock themed PlayerCard content.
