The reveal also highlights some innovative features of the set, such as Summons, which are part of Magic's first-ever Saga creatures. These can be summoned for aid during battles, as exemplified by the Summon: Shiva card in the gallery. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, with Cecil showcasing his dual nature as both a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.
The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, including 55 borderless legendary cards, many of which are illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series. This set is fully draftable and Standard-legal, and it will be released alongside four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck contains 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing cards featuring new Final Fantasy-themed art. Mark your calendars for the set's launch on June 13.
