Get ready for some liquid metal mayhem! NetherRealm Studios has unleashed the first gameplay footage of the T-1000, the latest guest character joining the brutal fray in Mortal Kombat 1. This iconic Terminator 2 villain brings his signature shape-shifting abilities and arsenal of deadly attacks to the fight. Witness the T-1000's blade and hook arms in action, reminiscent of Baraka and Kabal, culminating in a gruesome Fatality that reimagines the thrilling truck chase scene from the film. Robert Patrick, the original T-1000 actor, lends his voice and likeness, adding an extra layer of authenticity to the character's menacing presence. His voice is showcased for the first time in a tense showdown with Johnny Cage.

PlayBut that's not all! NetherRealm surprised fans with the announcement of Madam Bo as a new DLC Kameo fighter, debuting alongside the T-1000. This fan-favorite character from the *Mortal Kombat 1* story mode, the resourceful restaurant owner, will be available to assist players in battle. Catch a quick glimpse of Madam Bo in action during the T-1000 and Johnny Cage pre-game sequence and later as a support character.

The T-1000 becomes playable for Khaos Reigns early access owners on March 18th, with general availability on March 25th. Madam Bo arrives as a free update for Khaos Reigns owners on March 18th, or as a standalone purchase.

The T-1000 marks the final DLC character for the Khaos Reigns expansion, following the additions of Cyrax, Sektor, Noob Saibot, Ghostface, and Conan the Barbarian. While speculation swirls about a potential third Kombat Pack, Warner Bros. Discovery's commitment to the Mortal Kombat franchise remains strong, as evidenced by CEO David Zaslav's statement about doubling down on only four key titles, with Mortal Kombat among them.

Madam Bo is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 as a Kameo fighter.
Ed Boon, Mortal Kombat's creative director, previously confirmed NetherRealm's decision on its next project three years ago, promising continued support for Mortal Kombat 1 for the foreseeable future. Although many anticipate a return to the Injustice franchise, neither NetherRealm nor Warner Bros. has confirmed this yet. Boon himself clarified in an interview with IGN that the door is not closed on Injustice, citing the COVID-19 pandemic and the transition to Unreal Engine 4 as significant factors influencing the decision to release another Mortal Kombat title before returning to the Injustice series.
