Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10th Anniversary with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its monumental 10th anniversary, and Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios are rolling out a major update on March 25th. This update introduces new fighters, revamps the Faction Wars, adds a new challenge tower, and showers players with a host of anniversary rewards.

Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!

The spotlight of this update is the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. With abilities ranging from power absorption to healing and damage reflection, Geras is a force to be reckoned with. To get him, players will need to dive into the Realm Klash rewards or progress through the Kombat Pass.

Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, who joins the fray as the first gold-tier fighter capable of being fully ascended to Level 5. She boasts unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to siphon blood droplets from foes. Skarlet can be acquired via the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard one.

Faction Wars are now revamped and renamed to Realm Klash. Players can select from five different realms and compete for Realm Points over two-week seasons, moving beyond the traditional fight for Blood Rubies.

The 10th Anniversary update also introduces new ranks in Mortal Kombat Mobile: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now come with new Kameo offers alongside MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has received a visual overhaul, new banners, leaderboards, and patches for old exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time is an extreme test, available as a limited-time event for two weeks and featuring only 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, with MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras getting their own Brutality equipment sets. Additionally, a Fusion Boost modifier enhances the lowest fused card in your team, helping to balance the gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a comeback.

In honor of this significant anniversary, players will receive special gifts starting April 1st. For 10 consecutive days, you'll get a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo. Moreover, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
