Loot filters are invaluable in Path of Exile 2, especially as the item drops increase. They declutter your screen, highlighting crucial items and streamlining the looting process. While managing items on console with a controller can be cumbersome, PlayStation and Xbox players can utilize loot filters just like PC users. However, the process might seem a bit confusing, so let's walk through it.
To use loot filters on console, you must first link your console account to your Path of Exile account via the Path of Exile 1 website. Here's how:
After selecting your console, you'll be prompted to log in with your PlayStation or Xbox account. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the linking process.
Once linked, return to your profile page on the website and click the "Item Filters" button on the right. Then, click the "Item Filter Ladder" hyperlink. This opens a new tab with available loot filters for Path of Exile 2.
Select "PoE 2" from the drop-down menu above the filter list. Choose your desired filter and click "Follow." For new players, NeverSink's semi-strict or regular filters offer a good starting point.
Finally, with the filter followed, open the game, navigate to the Options menu, then the Game tab. Select your chosen filter from the "Item Filter" drop-down menu at the top and click "Save." Your game will now display items with different labels, colors, or sound effects based on your selected filter.
