Pedro Pascal Slams JK Rowling as 'Heinous Loser' Over Trans Comments

Pedro Pascal, renowned for his roles in acclaimed series such as The Last of Us, The Mandalorian, and The Fantastic Four: First Steps, has publicly criticized Harry Potter author JK Rowling for her stance against the transgender community. This criticism follows Rowling's endorsement of a recent UK Supreme Court decision that defines "woman" strictly as "a biological woman and biological sex" for the purposes of equality legislation, effectively excluding transgender women from certain protections under the Equality Act.

Rowling's support for this decision was highlighted when she posted a celebratory image on Twitter/X, showing herself enjoying a cigar and a drink by the ocean, captioned, "I love it when a plan comes together." This was in reference to her financial contributions to For Scotland Women, the organization behind the lawsuit that led to the court's ruling.

In response to a video by writer and activist Tariq Raouf criticizing Rowling's actions, Pascal left a comment on April 17, describing her behavior as "Awful disgusting SH**... Heinous LOSER behavior." Raouf had labeled Rowling's actions as "serious Voldemort villain sh**" and encouraged his followers to boycott Harry Potter and related products.

Pascal's support for the transgender community is well-documented. He has previously shared his views on social media, stating, “I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist," accompanied by an image of a sign proclaiming, "A world without trans people has never existed and never will." Additionally, Pascal made a statement at the premiere of Thunderbolts in London by wearing a shirt that read "Protect the dolls," a term used within the LGBTQIA+ community to refer to trans women.

His sister, Lux Pascal, came out as a trans woman in 2021, and Pedro Pascal has been a vocal advocate for her, publicly celebrating her transition with the message, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux," which translates to "My sister, my heart, our Lux."
