Pokémon Go sees every Community Day Pokémon return for end-of-year Catch-a-thon

Niantic is launching a final Catch-a-thon event for Pokémon Go in 2024, giving players another shot at Community Day exclusives and shiny Pokémon!

This year-end event runs December 21st and 22nd, from 2 pm to 5 pm local time, boasting featured Pokémon and special rewards. Here's the lineup:

• December 21st: Bellsprout, Chansey, Goomy, Rowlet, Litten, and Bounsweet (Shiny versions possible).
• December 22nd: Mankey, Ponyta, Galarian Ponyta, Sewaddle, Tynamo, and Popplio (Shiny versions possible).

During the last ten minutes of each hour, players can encounter Porygon, Cyndaquil, Bagon, and Beldum. The event also features 2x XP for catching Pokémon and 2x Stardust, plus numerous other rewards.

Following a year of major updates including Gigantamax Pokémon, Niantic is ending the year with a bang. This final community event provides a great opportunity to catch rare Pokémon before the holidays.
