Pokemon Go Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres Dynamax Forms Will Be Available One Week at a Time

Get Ready for Dynamax Legendary Birds in Pokémon GO!

From January 20th to February 3rd, the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will appear in their Dynamax forms in Pokémon GO! This exciting event offers players a chance to catch these powerful Pokémon.

The Legendary Trio's Appearance:

The Dynamax Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will be available in five-star Max Raids at Power Spots. Each bird will debut on a specific Monday:

• Dynamax Articuno: January 20th
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 27th
• Dynamax Moltres: February 3rd

Each legendary bird will remain available for a week following its initial appearance.

Legendary Flight Timed Research:

A special "Legendary Flight Timed Research" event will run concurrently, offering opportunities to catch Pokémon (some with increased Shiny rates) useful for battling the legendary birds. You'll also earn Candy and Max Particles to power up your catches. The research event schedule (in local time):

• Dynamax Articuno: January 17th, 10:00 am – January 20th, 7:00 pm (featuring Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny)
• Dynamax Zapdos: January 24th, 10:00 am – January 27th, 7:00 pm (featuring Drilbur, Cryogonal, and Grookey)
• Dynamax Moltres: January 31st, 10:00 am – February 3rd, 7:00 pm (featuring Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble)

Victini Returns in Pokémon GO Tour: Unova!

Pokémon GO Tour: Unova's global event offers a chance to encounter the Mythical Pokémon Victini. While the in-person event has limited participation, all players globally can obtain a free Tour Pass, upgradeable to a Deluxe Pass for enhanced rewards and faster progression.

The free Tour Pass will be available from February 24th, 2025, at 10:00 am, allowing players to collect Tour Points and earn rewards until March 2nd, 2025, at 6:00 pm (local time). The Tour Pass Deluxe unlocks Victini and the Lucky Trinket, allowing for a single Lucky Friend trade for a boosted-stats Pokémon.
