Pokémon GO World Championships 2024: Exclusive Twitch Drops and Timed Research!

Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! The Pokémon GO World Championships 2024 in Honolulu (August 16-18) offers exclusive rewards and Twitch Drops. You can earn up to three redeemable codes by watching the official Twitch livestream.

Claiming Your Twitch Drops:

Watch 30 minutes of the livestream on any of the three days. Ensure your Twitch and Pokémon Trainer Club accounts are linked. Minimizing the stream will pause your progress. A Twitch chat pop-up will alert you when you can claim your reward via the Twitch Drops Inventory Page or at rewards.pokemon.com (codes valid until August 26, 11:59 PM UTC).

Exclusive Timed Research Rewards:

Two codes are earned from daily livestream viewing; a third is available for watching official co-streams (August 16, 9:00 a.m. HST – August 19, 12:00 a.m. HST). These unlock Timed Research:

• Day 1: Encounter a Sableye (Shadow Claw/Foul Play), Elite Charged TM, and a Candy XL bonus (Trainers level 31+ completing three-star Shadow Raids). Sableye encountered during this research will also know Shadow Claw/Foul Play. (Shadow Sableye may appear in three-star raids during the event!)

• Day 2: Choose one of three Great League team options:

  • Team Option 1: Dunsparce, Mantine, Pancham
  • Team Option 2: Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, Chespin
  • Team Option 3: Jigglypuff, Shellos, Inkay

  You'll also receive 8,500 Stardust and increased Shiny encounter chances.
