PS5 owners will be able to play both Gran Turismo and Forza Horizon

The long-standing console wars and the exclusivity of top-tier racing games have fueled countless discussions. A central point of contention: Forza (Xbox) versus Gran Turismo (PlayStation). Owning both consoles wasn't always feasible, but that's changing. PlayStation gamers can finally settle the debate for themselves.

Forza Horizon 5 is arriving on PS5. The official announcement, complete with a PlayStation Store listing, confirms its arrival. While a precise release date remains unannounced, the launch window is slated for Spring 2025.

Panic Button is leading the PS5 port development, with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games offering support. The PS5 version promises feature parity with other platforms and full cross-platform functionality.

Furthermore, a free content update, "Horizon Realms," is in the works for all platforms. This update allows Horizon Festival members to revisit beloved locations from past "Evolving Worlds" updates, along with some exciting unannounced additions.
