In an exciting announcement from January, Bluepoch Games unveiled details about their upcoming collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Assassin’s Creed. This much-anticipated crossover will introduce Ezio Auditore da Firenze as a playable character, bringing fans of both franchises a unique gaming experience. The collaboration, crafted in partnership with Ubisoft, will delve into the beloved worlds of Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey, featuring themed stories and events spread across two thrilling phases.
The collaboration will launch in August 2025 on Android, iOS, and PC platforms, ensuring that fans across different devices can join in the fun. The teaser released in January showcased Vertin navigating a rainy street, with the iconic Assassin’s Creed logo illuminating the path ahead, setting the stage for what promises to be a memorable crossover.
The detailed plan for the crossover is now public. In Phase I, players will journey back to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the 15th-century Italian landscape, unraveling mysterious clues. Phase II transports players to the ancient world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, immersing them in the events and settings familiar to fans of the game.

This collaboration marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time the game’s servers worldwide are synchronized, ensuring that all players can access the event content simultaneously. Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics, where players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a strange phenomenon called The Storm. As entire eras vanish after the storms, Vertin and her partner Sonetto embark on missions across different time periods to rescue other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
