Only a handful of fishing rods in Fisch are freely obtainable through quests. The Tides of Gold update introduced a new free rod, but acquiring it demands significant time and in-game currency investment due to the rarity of required mutated items. This guide details how to obtain the Rod of the Exalted One.

Locating the Keeper's Secret

To acquire the Rod of the Exalted One, you must first discover the Keeper's Secret. This hidden location resides on one of the main islands. Access is free. To reach it, travel to Mushgrove Swamp.

On this island, locate a disguised wall within the rocks. This is challenging without knowing its precise location. Proceed directly inland from the Shipwright NPC. Upon encountering tall rocks, turn left; you'll find a darker-colored, visually distinct, false wall. Walk through it cautiously; the interior cave is small, containing only an elevator and a dangerous pit.

A misstep while using the elevator will result in a fatal fall. Successfully navigate the elevator to reach the Keeper's Secret, where seven differently colored pedestals await.

Solving the Keeper's Secret Puzzle

Each of the seven pedestals requires a uniquely mutated Enchant Relic:

• Greedy Relic
• Translucent Relic
• Atlantean Relic
• Crystalized Relic
• Hexed Relic
• Mosaic Relic
• Fossilized Relic

Acquiring these Relics typically involves purchasing them from the Merlin NPC and appraising them during Mutation Surge events, necessitating a substantial financial commitment.

Once all correctly mutated Relics are placed, you'll receive the Rod of the Exalted One and three Exalted Relics.
