Get ready for an epic continuation as HBO has officially announced that The Last of Us Season 2 will premiere on Sunday, April 13 at 9pm ET/PT. You can catch it on HBO as well as stream it on Max. The upcoming season is set to run for seven thrilling episodes, and to ramp up the excitement, HBO has released new character posters featuring Joel, Ellie, and Abby.

Taking place five years after the gripping events of the first season, The Last of Us Season 2 will follow Joel and Ellie as they continue their journey, now living with Joel’s brother Tommy in their Montana commune. Fans of the game series will recognize the plot as this season adapts the narrative of The Last of Us Part 2, promising a familiar yet fresh take on the beloved story.
