It's official: Sid Meier's Civilization VII launches for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on February 11, 2025—or February 6th with select editions. This latest entry in the renowned strategy series challenges you to guide a fledgling civilization to global dominance. Conquer through military might, scientific breakthroughs, cultural influence, or a blend of strategies—the choice is yours. Civilization VII is available for pre-order now in various editions, ranging from the standard to the extravagant (available on Amazon). Read on for a breakdown of each.

Civilization VII (Standard Edition)

Civilization VII Collector’s Edition

Exclusive to the Final Boss Bundle, this edition is available with or without the PC (Steam) version of the game. What Is Civilization VII?

Sid Meier's Civilization VII, developed by Firaxis, is the latest iteration of the iconic strategy series (debuting in 1991). Choose a historical leader, build your city, create architectural wonders, and expand your empire through conquest or diplomacy. A key innovation in Civ VII is the three-age system (Antiquity, Exploration, Modern), where you select a new civilization for each age, with only your chosen leader carrying over.
