Star Wars Outlaws is set to receive a significant update this November, as announced by the new Creative Director, Drew Rechner. Dive in to discover more about what this update entails and what Rechner has to say about it.
In what marks their first major post-launch update for Star Wars Outlaws, Ubisoft's new Creative Director, Drew Rechner, has shared plans aimed at enhancing the game's mechanics and overall player experience. This update responds directly to fan feedback, focusing on key areas such as combat, stealth, and controls. According to the developer's post, this "biggest update yet" is scheduled for release on November 21, coinciding with the game's debut on Steam and the launch of its first DLC.
The developer update begins with a heartfelt thank-you from Rechner to the Outlaws community for their enthusiasm and support, which has manifested in "fan arts, comments, and videos you’ve created around the game." Beyond this, Rechner, in his inaugural message as Creative Director, acknowledges the invaluable constructive feedback from players. "Thank you for sharing with us and helping us make the game even better," he expressed.
With three title updates already released, Massive Entertainment is addressing some of the most significant community concerns directly. These patches have tackled bugs, enhanced mission dynamics, and refined the speeder camera and collision mechanics, ensuring a smoother experience across the game's diverse landscapes, from desert planets to lush jungles.
While Game8 has awarded the game a commendable score of 90, describing it as an exceptional game that does justice to the Star Wars franchise,
Rechner believes there is still potential for further enhancement. In the Developer Update, he pinpointed three key areas that could "improve the game even further."
