Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 Release Date Announced with Spin-Off and Ninth Jedi Story

At Star Wars Celebration, fans were thrilled to learn that Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 is set to launch on October 29, 2025. This exciting news was accompanied by the announcement of a new spin-off series that will expand on the story of The Ninth Jedi from Volume 1.

Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will showcase nine captivating short films, each crafted by renowned Japanese anime studios. The lineup includes Studio Trigger, known for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, WIT Studio, famous for Attack on Titan, and other esteemed studios such as David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema citrus Co., Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.

Additionally, it was revealed that three episodes in Volume 3 will continue stories from previous volumes. These include The Duel by Kamikaze Douga, The Village Bride by Kinema citrus Co., and The Ninth Jedi by Production I.G.

Kenji Kamiyama, the writer and director behind The Ninth Jedi, made a special appearance at Star Wars Celebration to discuss the upcoming spin-off series. This series will delve deeper into Kara's journey, offering fans longer narratives within the expansive Star Wars: Visions universe.

While details remain scarce, it's confirmed that Kara will reunite with Juro in the 'Child of Hope' episode featured in Volume 3.
