Jason Sudeikis, star and producer of Ted Lasso, has officially announced that Season 4 is in the works. During a conversation on the New Heights sports podcast with Jason and Travis Kelce, Sudeikis revealed the beloved Apple TV+ series will return for at least one more season. A snippet from the podcast highlights the brothers pressing Sudeikis for an update after Season 3 concluded in summer 2023. "That’s what we’re writing. We’re writing Season 4 now,” Sudeikis confirmed. He teased that Ted will be coaching a women's team.

This is the first concrete update in nearly two years, offering welcome news to fans. While details remain scarce, including whether Season 4 will be the final season and the location, even Travis Kelce couldn't pry a definitive answer from Sudeikis regarding Ted's potential return to the U.S. Sudeikis laughed, stating, “Yeah, that’s too many questions, and that’s only because I don’t know.”
Meanwhile, Deadline reports that Juno Temple (Keeley) is in negotiations to return, joining Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy), and Jeremy Swift (Leslie), who are already confirmed. Sources suggest filming for Episode 1 will likely begin in Kansas City before the action shifts back to the UK, with production aiming to start in July.
Apple TV+ is actively re-engaging fans. While a release date and plot details are still under wraps, the show's official X/Twitter account has playfully acknowledged its hiatus:
Finally found the dang password to this thing.
Sorry y’all. What’d I miss?
