S-Tier

Five characters dominate the S-tier in Tribe Nine, with Tsuruko Semba arguably the best. Her support abilities, including the potent Invigorating Surge ultimate that buffs the entire party while dealing damage, make her incredibly versatile. Her fluid movements also allow for effective damage dealing.

Miu Jujo, an S-tier Attacker, excels with her Luminous Crystals, dealing consistent damage over time. Her high speed allows for easy evasion, making her a formidable damage dealer.

Q, a Tank unit, boasts high Break Ability and powerful attacks. His Fighting Will stacks significantly boost his damage output, making him a powerful addition to a team, especially when paired with Tsuruko Semba and an Attacker.

Jio Takinogawa is a solid tank, capable of taunting enemies and mitigating damage, though his damage output is limited.

Yo Kuronaka, the protagonist, offers a high Break Ability but suffers from a somewhat clunky moveset. While his damage isn't as high as S-tier units, he's still a viable option.

B-Tier

Roku Saigo and Koishi Kohinata fall into the B-tier. Roku is a decent Fighter with average damage, lacking standout abilities. Koishi, a free starting Healer, is serviceable for early game but should be replaced with a stronger Healer when available.

C-Tier

Yutaka Gotanda, Tsuki Iroha, and Hyakuichitaro Senju are usable but lack exceptional abilities. While helpful in early to mid-game, they may hinder progress in the late game. Tsuki Iroha is a free unit, but Koishi Kohinata is a better early-game investment. Yutaka Gotanda is a passable Tank, and Hyakuichitaro Senju offers average damage.
