With the introduction of an exciting new *Call of Duty* Zombies map in *Black Ops 6*, players can once again wield the powerful Staff of Ice, a fan-favorite Wonder Weapon from the *Black Ops II* map, Origins. If you're eager to harness the icy power on The Tomb, here's everything you need to know about obtaining the Staff of Ice.
In *Black Ops II*, the Staff of Ice required the assembly of three parts. The good news for *Black Ops 6* Zombies players is that the Staff of Ice can be obtained directly from the Mystery Box on The Tomb. However, acquiring it this way depends heavily on RNG luck. Using the "Wunderbar!" GobbleGum might increase your chances, but it doesn't guarantee the Staff of Ice over other high-value items like the Ray Gun. If you prefer to bypass luck, follow these steps to build the Staff of Ice yourself.

To begin crafting the Staff of Ice, you need to collect the Monocle, the first and most accessible part. This item is dropped by the first Shock Mimic you kill in a match on The Tomb. Simply approach the Monocle after the kill and press the interact button to add it to your inventory.
The next two parts, the Head Piece and the Staff itself, involve similar puzzles and surviving lockdowns. You can acquire these pieces in any order.
For the Head Piece, navigate to the Neolithic Catacombs. Locate the wall with the cave painting, which you'll need to illuminate using the Dark Aether lanterns scattered around. Shoot a lantern with purple fire, and wait for it to respawn in a different lantern until it lights up the area near the painted wall. If the lanterns aren't spawned, visit the Dark Aether Nexus and return, or progress a few rounds.
Once illuminated, shoot the symbols on the wall in the order of Roman Numerals from I to X. This step is forgiving; if you make a mistake, you can resume from the last correctly hit symbol. Use a bullet weapon to avoid disrupting the sequence with splash or explosive damage. Completing this will light up a constellation, triggering a lockdown. Survive the onslaught of zombies and special enemies, and you'll find the Head Piece at the mural.
To obtain the Staff itself, head to the Tombs room. Again, use the lanterns to move the purple fire until it illuminates the Bull Mural, where the bull's head faces left, charging at Romans. Shoot the Roman Numerals in ascending order from I to VIII. This will also trigger a lockdown. Survive it to obtain the Staff piece, which you can then take to the Dark Aether Nexus for assembly.
With all three parts in hand, head to the Dark Aether Nexus through the Door to Nowhere. Approach the central structure and interact to place the parts. Be prepared for a fierce battle as zombies, special, and potentially elite enemies will try to disrupt the assembly. Defend the Staff with upgraded weapons, perks, and strategic GobbleGums like Kill Joy and Free Fire. Successfully defending the Staff will result in its assembly, ready for you to wield its icy power.
And that's how to get the Staff of Ice on The Tomb in *Black Ops 6* Zombies.
