World of Warcraft's Extended Timewalking Extravaganza: Seven Weeks of Turbulent Timeways!

World of Warcraft players are in for a treat! The Turbulent Timeways event is back, and this time it's even bigger. Running for seven consecutive weeks until February 24th, this event offers a non-stop Timewalking experience across various expansions. Players can earn exciting new rewards, amass Timewarped Badges, and enjoy a substantial experience boost. Completing the Mastery of Timeways buff for at least five weeks unlocks the coveted Timely Buzzbee mount.

This expanded event builds upon the successful five-week run from September 2023. The familiar Mastery of Timeways buff returns, providing a 20% experience bonus after completing four Timewalking dungeons. However, instead of five weeks, players now have seven weeks to earn this powerful buff.

The Timewalking Tour:

The Turbulent Timeways event will cycle through different World of Warcraft expansions, each week featuring a unique Timewalking campaign:

• January 7-13: Mists of Pandaria
• January 14-20: Warlords of Draenor
• January 21-27: Legion
• January 28-February 3: Classic
• February 4-10: The Burning Crusade
• February 11-17: Wrath of the Lich King
• February 18-24: Cataclysm

Rewards Galore:

In addition to the standard Timewalking rewards, this event offers several enticing additions:

• Timely Buzzbee Mount: Awarded for achieving Mastery of Timeways in five out of the seven weeks.
• New Vendor Items: Each expansion's vendor boasts new permanent additions, including Season of Discovery transmogs at the Classic vendor. The Sandy Shalewing pet, previously unavailable, is also available for those who missed it.
• Heroic Gear: Completing the weekly Timewalking dungeon quest grants Heroic-level gear throughout the event.

Looking Ahead:

The Turbulent Timeways event's conclusion on February 24th offers a clue to Blizzard's plans. Given the typical release schedule and holiday season, this strongly suggests that World of Warcraft Patch 11.1, "Undermined," will launch on February 25th, ten weeks after Patch 11.0.7.
