The Ohn’ahran Overlook, set in the Ohn'ahran Plains from Dragonflight, is automatically granted by logging in after Patch 11.1. The Cultists’ Quay, found in the Nightfall Sanctum Delve in Hallowfall, is earned through the Delver’s Journey in Season 2. The Freywold Spring, located in the village of the same name, and the Gallagio Grand Gallery, featured in the new raid, Liberation of Undermine, are unlocked by completing the "All That Khaz" and "Racing to a Revolution" meta-achievements, respectively.

Players can explore and unlock these campsites via a new tab in the Collections pane, making it easy to preview and select their preferred backgrounds. On the character select screen, a new tab at the top allows users to choose campsites for their characters or opt for a random selection of favorite backgrounds each time they log in.

These customizable options build upon the Warbands system introduced in World of Warcraft: The War Within, demonstrating Blizzard's commitment to continually enhancing player experiences. Fans can anticipate unlocking more campsites alongside mounts, pets, and other collectibles in future updates, which may include new content, old areas, holiday events, the Trading Post, and even the cash shop.
