Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Lineup: A Snowy Start and More to Come

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers are in for a treat! Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, a thrilling skiing game featuring co-op and PvP modes, drops as a day-one title on January 21st. This announcement follows a relatively quiet first half of January, where most changes involved tier shifts rather than new additions.

While the initial January 2025 Game Pass additions were sparse, the second half promises a much more robust selection. Following Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders, three more day-one titles are slated for release:

  • Eternal Strands: A highly anticipated action-adventure game from Yellow Brick Games, boasting a distinct Zelda-esque feel, arrives on January 28th.
  • Sniper Elite: Resistance: Join the fight on January 30th.
  • Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector: Concludes the month's additions on January 31st.

This influx of new games makes the latter half of January a strong showing for Game Pass Ultimate. All these day-one titles are immediately accessible to Ultimate subscribers without additional cost.

The full list of January 2025 Game Pass additions includes:

  • Carrion - January 2nd
  • Road 96 - January 7th
  • Diablo - January 14th
  • EA Sports UFC 3 - January 14th
  • Lonely Mountains: Snow Riders - January 21st
  • Eternal Strands - January 28th
  • Sniper Elite: Resistance - January 30th
  • Citizen Sleeper 2 - January 31st

February 2025's Game Pass lineup remains largely unannounced, though Avowed is confirmed for an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate release on February 18th. Until then, Ultimate subscribers can enjoy the exciting winter sports and action-adventure titles hitting Game Pass in January.
