Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 'Bury Your Tears with the Past' Launches Soon

HoYoverse has exciting news for fans of Zenless Zone Zero, as they've announced the launch date for Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past.' This much-anticipated update is set to launch on April 23rd, marking the culmination of Season 1's narrative arcs.

What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?

Version 1.7 promises to unravel the long-standing mystery surrounding the Sacrifice crisis. Players will delve deep into Vivian's intricate backstory, while Hugo's fate, previously shrouded in speculation, will finally be laid bare.

Following Hugo's dramatic plunge into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated significantly. In response, the Mayor has dispatched a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to address the brewing conflict.

Together with Vivian, players will venture into enemy territory to locate the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's quest involves confronting figures from her past, while the Exaltists' conspiracy begins to unravel, promising a thrilling narrative experience.

Here’s the Character Lineup

Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, gracefully wields a parasol and rapier, dealing substantial Corruption damage when synergized with other characters' EX Special Attacks.

The second new addition is Hugo, an Ice Attack Agent. With his suitcase that morphs into a scythe, Hugo unleashes devastating blows on stunned enemies, triggering the Totalize effect that amplifies damage based on the remaining stun duration.

Robin, Mockingbird's agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray with her ability to throw cards that produce random effects. Meanwhile, fans will see the return of Jane, the Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, the Fire Stun Agent, in Version 1.7’s banners.

In addition to new characters, Version 1.7 introduces fresh events to Zenless Zone Zero. The 'Say It With Flowers' event allows players to manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements for customers. Completing these commissions unlocks a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
