FAZE 10 RULES:
A phase is a combination of cards, typically consisting of sets (multiple cards of the same value), runs (consecutive cards in ascending order), cards of one color, or a mix of these. There are ten phases to conquer:
The dealer shuffles the deck and deals 10 cards, face down, one at a time, to each player. Players keep their 10 cards hidden from others.
Completing phases
▪️ Phases must be completed in order, from 1 to 10.
▪️ A player must have the entire Phase in hand before laying it down.
▪️ Players can lay down more than the minimum required for a Phase, but only if the additional cards can be directly added to the existing Phase.
▪️ Only one Phase can be completed per hand.
▪️ If a player successfully completes a Phase, they move on to the next Phase in the following hand. If they fail, they must attempt the same Phase again.
▪️ Players receive credit for completing a Phase as soon as it's laid down, regardless of whether they win the hand. Multiple players can complete their Phase in the same hand.
Additionally, if a player has the required phase in their hand, they are not obligated to lay it down. However, they must still discard a card at the end of their turn.
Going out and Ending the Round:
Once you've completed and laid down your phase, focus on playing out the remaining cards in your hand.
Remember: You must always draw one card at the beginning of your turn and discard one card at the end.
Scoring a Round:
When a player completes their phase and discards their last card, the round ends.
Players then tally the total value of cards left in their hands (aiming for the lowest possible score) and score them as follows:
▪️ Five points (5) for each card valued 1-9
▪️ Ten points (10) for each card valued 10-12
▪️ Fifteen points (15) for a Skip
▪️ Twenty-five points (25) for a Wild
Your goal is to achieve the LOWEST score by the end of the Phases game.
Finishing the game:
If only one player is attempting Phase Card number 10 and completes it, they win immediately. If multiple players complete Phases on the same hand, the player with the lowest total points after completing Phase 10 wins. In case of a tie, tied players replay Phase 10, and the first to complete it and discard all their cards wins.
