Botany Manor's PlayStation Debut Set for January 28th
Originally slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions of the critically acclaimed puzzle game Botany Manor will now launch on January 28th, 2025. This delay, announced by publisher Whitethorn Games, allows for final polishing to ensure the best possible player experience.
Developed by Balloon Studios, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC upon its April 2024 release. The game, lauded as one of the best puzzle games of 2024, offers a relaxing experience centered around cultivating magical plants in the English countryside.
While the new release date has been confirmed, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available. The game is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain free of microtransactions. The digital soundtrack, available separately on Steam, is unlikely to be offered on PlayStation.
Botany Manor is poised to enrich the PlayStation puzzle game library, having already earned widespread praise with an 83/100 average score and 92% recommendation rate on OpenCritic. Its charming atmosphere, intricate puzzles, and rewarding exploration have resonated strongly with critics and players alike.
January 28th will be a busy day on the PlayStation Store, with Botany Manor joining other anticipated titles such as Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness. Balloon Studios has yet to announce their next project following the completion of the PlayStation port of their debut title.
