Customizable Dashboard
The dashboard is designed for fast access to key features, with options to customize its layout and content.
Important: Every page in the app has its own options menu. To view it, press the menu (hamburger) icon while the page is open.
Maps, Place Search, Points of Interest, and Turn-by-Turn Navigation
View Google Maps with your current location, address, and traffic data. Customize maps with various themes and layouts. Search for places, save them to lists for easy future access, and get directions and turn-by-turn navigation using Google APIs. Additional features include trip statistics and logs.
Playing Music and Watching Videos
Car Penguin includes a built-in media player for local audio and video files, with media controls, album listings, and a page for app shortcuts. You can also add widgets from other popular media providers to the dashboard or toggle bar.
Smartphone Integration
Access your contacts and favorites list to make calls using the default system dialer or transfer calls via Bluetooth to your mobile phone. For Bluetooth call transfer, call log sync, and SMS features, install the free Car Penguin Server app on your phone.
