The Abandoned Planet: A Retro Adventure Revived

The Abandoned Planet: A Retro Sci-Fi Adventure Now Available

Released today globally, The Abandoned Planet is the latest creation from solo indie developer Jeremy Fryc, under the banner of Dexter Team Games. This first-person adventure game boasts a retro aesthetic reminiscent of classic titles, offering players a captivating blend of exploration and mystery.

A Story of Discovery

The game plunges you into the role of an astronaut stranded on a bizarre and unsettling alien planet after a wormhole mishap. With no other inhabitants in sight, you must uncover the planet's secrets, decipher its eerie landscape, and ultimately, find your way back home.

Exploration Takes Center Stage

The Abandoned Planet features hundreds of unique locations to explore, challenging players to solve puzzles, uncover hidden clues, and piece together a larger narrative mystery through point-and-click gameplay. The game is fully voiced in English, adding depth and immersion to the experience. Interestingly, the storyline appears to be connected to the developer's previous game, Dexter Stardust.

A Gripping Narrative

The Abandoned Planet masterfully blends suspense and puzzle-solving, creating a truly immersive and engaging narrative. Experience a sneak peek with the official trailer below:

A Nostalgic Adventure

Inspired by classic adventure games like Myst and Riven, and echoing the charm of 90s LucasArts adventures, The Abandoned Planet employs a 2D pixel art style that perfectly captures a retro feel.

Act 1 of The Abandoned Planet is available now for free on Android via the Google Play Store, published by Snapbreak.
