Pikmin Beach Event Adds Waves, Surfboards

This July, Pikmin Bloom is embracing a full vacation atmosphere with the arrival of its Beach Resort Event. Get ready to encounter new Decor Pikmin, take on tropical challenges, and discover vibrant seasonal flowers during your walks. Read on for all the details.

What are the dates for the Beach Resort Event in Pikmin Bloom?

From July 1st to July 31st, 2025, the game transforms into a summer paradise. The main attraction is the debut of the Surfboard Keychain Decor Pikmin.

You can earn these new additions by completing special Event Challenges available throughout the month. Successfully finishing these missions also rewards you with random items like Sea Glass and various flower petals.

Additionally, when the event stage's Big Flower blooms, you are guaranteed an extra bonus—a Gold Seedling on top of the standard rewards.

Accompanying them are the returning Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin, a popular choice from past events. You'll also get special missions to collect Sea Glass, which can be used to unlock event-themed Mii costumes alongside Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin seedlings.

Sea Glass can be collected in several ways, including planting flowers, defeating Seafoam Mushrooms, opening Mystery Boxes, or purchasing the Event Premium Pass and the Web Store Exclusive Bundle Pack.

Seafoam Mushrooms are exclusive to this event. Defeating them yields Mystery Boxes containing Sea Glass and other valuable items. The most effective Pikmin for these battles are the Surfboard Keychain and Ice Cream: Classic Decor Pikmin.

In other news, the July big flower forecast is now available. Birds of paradise are making their debut as the flower of the month, with white, red, and yellow varieties appearing for the first time in Pikmin Bloom.

Throughout July, planting red, yellow, white, or blue petals near Big Flowers can cause them to bloom into lilies, frangipanis, peonies, water lilies, irises, or birds of paradise. Fruits collected from defeated mushrooms will provide regular, lily, frangipani, peony, water lily, iris, or bird of paradise nectar.
