Genshin Impact Update 5.5 Adds Exciting Volcano Area

As the UK experiences a fleeting warmth followed by a chilling dip, and spring seems hesitant to fully embrace many regions, Genshin Impact's upcoming 5.5 update, launching on March 26th, promises to bring the heat you might be craving. Dubbed "Day of the Flame's Return," this update introduces the awe-inspiring Great Volcano of Tollan within the Natlan region, along with the long-awaited Sacred City of Tollan. Players will have the opportunity to explore this ancient Dragonborn-built city and unravel the mystery of the Flamelord's Blessing deep within its volcanic heart.

But the heat isn't the only thing being turned up in this update. The final tribe of Natlan, the Tribe of Plenty, makes its debut, accompanied by a formidable new Saurian, the Tatankasaurus. This powerful creature has the strength and size to crush massive rocks under its weight, adding a thrilling element to the Natlan landscape.

Heating up: Navigating the treacherous volcano won't be a solitary endeavor. The 5.5 update introduces two new characters to aid your journey. Varessa, a five-star Electro Catalyst user, unleashes devastating Electro damage, while Iansan, a four-star Electro Polearm wielder and one of the six heroes of Natlan, enhances attack damage and provides healing support to her allies.
