Mastering Photo Mode in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
While Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 delivers stunning medieval visuals perfect for screenshots, its photo mode offers surprisingly limited functionality at launch.
Accessing Photo Mode Controls
The good news? Unlike some titles (Elden Ring, we're looking at you), Kingdom Come Delivery 2 includes photo functionality from day one:
- PC: Press F1 or simultaneously click both analog sticks
- Consoles: Click L3+R3 (push both thumbsticks)
Photo Mode Features Explained
Once activated, players gain basic camera controls:
- Adjust viewing angles (left analog/PC mouse)
- Modify elevation (triggers/Caps Lock)
- Toggle UI visibility
- Capture screenshots
Platform-Specific Capture Methods
Image saving varies by platform:
- PlayStation: Share button → Capture
- Xbox: Guide button → Y
- PC: Automatically saves to Pictures folder
Current Limitations
The current implementation lacks advanced features common elsewhere:
- No pose adjustments
- Missing environmental controls
- Absent character customization
- Fixed proximity to protagonist
While functional for basic captures, Warhorse Studios may expand these options through future updates.
