The second Season 5 update, "The Blossoming Blade," introduces the Spring Hunt 2025 event to Monster Hunter Now. This paid online event runs from May 24th to May 25th, 2025. The update also spotlights the Elder Dragon Chameleos.
To join the Spring Hunt 2025, purchase an event ticket from the Monster Hunter Now shop. This grants you unlimited access to Elder Dragon Interceptions exclusively featuring Chameleos, with no waiting between encounters or Hunt-a-thons. You can also earn bonus Chameleos-themed layered gear.
The event includes Event Exchange Hubs. Two hubs will be active, with the Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub opening on May 19th at 9:00 a.m. and closing on June 2nd at 11:59 p.m.
From May 19th to May 25th, defeat large monsters or elder dragons to collect tokens. These can be traded for valuable items such as a Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Chameleos is infamous for its stealth tactics and a disorienting fog that reduces visibility. Starting May 24th, 2025, you can challenge this elusive foe in Elder Dragon Interceptions.
Hunters ranked 100 or higher can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on the 24th. Chameleos is particularly weak to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements, so prepare your gear accordingly.
Defeating Chameleos allows you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which includes the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill halves the duration of poison and venom effects on you and increases your chances of poisoning targets.
Chameleos materials can be used to craft a wide range of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. Download Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and prepare for the Spring Hunt 2025.
