Capcom had previously announced "latest news" about upcoming games and developer interviews during this week's showcase, where we'll likely get official confirmation. The Capcom Spotlight livestream begins at 3pm PT/11pm UK time on Thursday, June 25.
The latest entry in Capcom's monster-slaying franchise achieved record-breaking sales, moving 8 million copies in its first three days — making it the company's fastest-selling title ever, surpassing Monster Hunter World's 5 million (2018) and Monster Hunter Rise's 4 million (2021).
We awarded Monster Hunter Wilds an 8/10 in our review, noting: "Monster Hunter Wilds continues refining the series' rough edges intelligently, delivering exhilarating battles while lacking substantial challenge."
