Phoenix 2 Unveils New Campaign Mode and Controller Support

The indie shoot'em up game, *Phoenix 2*, has just received a significant update on Android, bringing a wealth of new content and exciting features. If you're a fan of its fast-paced action and tactical depth, dive in to discover what's new.

What’s In Store?

One of the standout additions in this update is the introduction of a new campaign mode. Beyond the daily missions, you can now immerse yourself in an expansive campaign consisting of 30 handcrafted missions. This mode offers a story-driven experience featuring characters from the *Phoenix 2* universe, providing a unique challenge that both new and veteran players will enjoy. The campaign introduces a visually stunning Starmap, enhancing your journey as you explore various locations and fend off invaders.

Another exciting feature is the introduction of custom player tags. By unlocking VIP status, you can personalize your leaderboard entry with a variety of designs, colors, and information. Your scores, marked with these custom tags, will remain on the leaderboard permanently, adding a personal touch to your achievements.

For those who prefer a more traditional gaming setup, the update now includes full support for modern controllers, enhancing the gameplay experience for gamepad users.

There’s A Fresh Interface Upgrade As Well

Speedrunners and competitive players will appreciate the new interface upgrades. You can now track your wave progress and see a timer during missions, helping you gauge your performance in real-time during intense runs.

Alongside these major changes, the update includes various smaller tweaks and fixes, such as updated character portraits. So, don't wait—head over to the Google Play Store, select your ship, and immerse yourself in the action of *Phoenix 2*.
