Pokémon TCG Pocket Marks First Year with Outernet London Event

Pokémon TCG Pocket marks its first anniversary by relaunching its interactive pop-up experience. The Pokémon Company International will host the event at London's Outernet from November 8–9, 2025.

Following a highly successful debut last year, the celebration returns with more themed rooms and new digital experiences. Guests can enjoy a full weekend of Pokémon activities, all completely free. The venue opens to the public Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, November 9, from 11:15 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This two-day anniversary event takes over the Now Building — a massive atrium surrounded by digital screens that turn the space into an immersive Pokémon playground.

Attendees can experience motion-controlled pack openings based on expansions released during Pokémon TCG Pocket’s first year. That even includes a larger-than-life pack experience from the latest expansion, Mega Rising.

Know what’s where!

The Now Pop 1 room will feature DJ Pikachu performing a lively set before hosting meet-and-greet sessions. Trainers can also participate in a wonder pick mini-game, earning in-game pack hourglasses ranging from 12 to 120, depending on the rarity of the card they reveal.

Meanwhile, the Now Pop 2 room offers the chance to try playable demos of the newly released video game Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

In the Now Arcade area, an event-exclusive collection binder will be featured. Attendees can scan hidden QR codes placed throughout the venue to add new digital cards from Pokémon TCG Pocket to their collection.

It’s been one year since Pokémon TCG Pocket first launched. With more than 150 million downloads to date, the game has clearly built a dedicated player base.

Meanwhile, check out the new expansion

The Mega Rising expansion introduces Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, such as Mega Gyarados ex, Mega Blaziken ex, and Mega Altaria ex — all part of the anniversary festivities.

A key addition is the new Share feature, along with expanded trading options for rare cards and booster packs. This feature lets you send one card per day to friends.

Download the game now from the Google Play Store.
