Pity System Analyzed: Girls

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Pity System Explained: Does Pity Carry Over Between Banners?

Developed by Sunborn, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a free-to-play tactical RPG with gacha mechanics available on PC and mobile. A common question among players revolves around the pity system and whether progress carries over between banners. The short answer is: yes, for limited banners.

Limited Banner Pity Transfer:

Your pity counter and pulls from one limited banner will transfer to the next. During the global launch, simultaneous Suomi and Ullrid banners demonstrated this. Pity increased regardless of which banner you pulled on. This means you could nearly reach pity on one banner, then switch to the other and have a significantly increased chance of obtaining the featured character. This carry-over applies to all future limited banners.

Important Note: No Pity Transfer Between Limited and Standard Banners:

Progress on limited banners does not transfer to standard banners, and vice-versa. You cannot manipulate the system by pulling on the standard banner to build pity for a limited banner.

Soft and Hard Pity:

While the hard pity is 80 pulls, a soft pity mechanic begins at 58 pulls. After 58 pulls without an SSR unit, your chances of obtaining one gradually increase until you reach hard pity at 80 pulls.

This clarification should resolve any confusion regarding pity carry-over in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. For more game guides, including rerolling, tier lists, and mailbox location, check out The Escapist.
