Pokémon Go Strength in Numbers Challenge

The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon Go is approaching its conclusion, with Niantic emphasizing collaborative gameplay. From May 20th to 22nd, players worldwide can participate in the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge by sending Gifts to friends.

Gift-Giving Marathon

During the event period, trainers can open up to 50 Gifts daily - increasing opportunities to earn Stardust, valuable items, and friendship progression. More importantly, successful completion will unlock reward-worthy Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic featuring Machop.

If players collectively meet the challenge requirements by May 23rd, they'll gain the ability to send Machop Special Research tickets to Great Friends (or higher) in their network. Surprisingly, you can distribute these tickets without purchasing one for yourself - simply visit the in-game shop to share. A generous daily limit of 20 gifted tickets per player ensures widespread participation.

Machop Community Day Classic Returns

This challenge leads directly into the Machop Community Day Classic on May 24th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. The event boosts Machop spawns and reintroduces its coveted Shiny variant, perfect for collectors and competitive battlers alike.

Evolve Machoke by May 31st to obtain a Machamp with the Dark-type Charged Attack Payback - a strategic addition to its movepool. Additional bonuses include:

  • 3× Stardust for catching Pokémon
  • Extended 3-hour durations for Incense and Lures
  • Special Timed Research offering enhanced Shiny encounter odds

Prepare by downloading Pokémon Go for free today. Visit the Pokémon Go Web Store to stock up on essential items beforehand.
