Zenless Zone Zero 2.0 Launching Next Month: Where Clouds Embrace Dawn

I'd attempt another summer pun, but that topic has surely grown stale by now! (Editor's note: My apologies, dear reader.) Regardless, the arrival of warmer weather often coincides with major game updates. For Zenless Zone Zero fans, there's much to anticipate: not only the first anniversary and the Xbox launch, but also the release of Version 2.0, 'Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn,' on June 6th.

This update transports you to a completely new district of New Eridu, distinct from the wider cityscape. On the Waifei Peninsula, you'll encounter new characters and uncover mysteries that compel your Proxies to venture from Failume Heights into the depths of the Lemnian Hollow.

With its unique theme, you'll take charge of managing your own Suibian Temple. This introduces a fresh minigame where you upgrade facilities and earn in-game rewards by defeating Bangboos, completing commissions, and gathering resources from the Hollows.

To help you tackle the new challenges awaiting on the Waifei Peninsula, a host of new allies will join your cause. Yixuan, known as the Grandmaster, is an S-rank agent with a unique Adrenaline mechanic that allows her to bypass enemy defenses. Six additional agents, including the formidable panda-like Pan Yinhu, will also become available to bolster your team with their unique skills.

Version 2.0 also introduces significant quality-of-life improvements to aid your navigation of New Eridu. A brand new 3D map is complemented by Fissure Beacons, which let you restore HP, revive fallen agents, and swiftly return to the action.
