DownloadDiagnose OBDII Errors on Opel, Vauxhall, and Chevrolet Vehicles Using an ELM327BT Interface
The OPL DRC Reader app is designed to retrieve OBDII Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from Opel, Vauxhall, and Chevrolet vehicles equipped with a CAN BUS (HS-CAN) system, manufactured post-2004. Supported models include:
Opel/Vauxhall:
- Insignia
- Astra J
- Astra H (Engine Module Only)
- Vectra C/Signum (Engine Module Only)
- Other models (untested)
Chevrolet:
- Orlando
- Cruze (untested)
- Other models (untested)
Other GM Brands:
Untested.
This application displays the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), Engine Code, and a list of detected errors from the following modules:
- Engine Control Module (ECU)
- Body Control Module (BCM)
- Transmission Control Module (TCM)
Mileage retrieval from certain modules is also supported, depending on the vehicle.
Important Note:
A compatible ELM327 Bluetooth interface, version 1.3 or higher, is required for proper functionality. The app may not function correctly with low-quality ELM327 clones.
