Many Marvel Rivals players are experiencing extended shader compilation times upon launching the game. This guide offers a solution to significantly reduce this loading time.

Game loading times can vary, especially for online titles. However, Marvel Rivals PC players are reporting excessively long shader compilation times, often lasting several minutes. Shaders are crucial for rendering 3D graphics correctly, and improper installation can lead to various issues.

A community-discovered workaround effectively resolves this problem:

  1. Access Nvidia Control Panel: Locate and open your Nvidia control panel.
  2. Adjust Shader Cache Size: Navigate to the global settings and find the "Shader Cache Size" option.
  3. Set a Lower Value: Select a value less than or equal to your VRAM. The options are typically 5 GB, 10 GB, and 100 GB; choose the closest option to your VRAM capacity.

This adjustment drastically reduces shader compilation time, often to just a few seconds, and also eliminates "Out of VRAM memory" errors.

While this solution is effective, players may prefer to wait for an official patch from NetEase. However, until a developer fix is released, this method provides a quick and efficient workaround to avoid lengthy loading screens.

Marvel Rivals is currently available on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
